In 2024, we decided that the Pilkington social media platforms were due for a visual refresh.
As part of this, the illustration style has been renewed — reimagining and expanding upon the previous visual world. The “crafty” and handmade feel of the style reflects the essence of Pilkington itself, where hands-on work defines the service: adhesives, tools, materials, and textures are everywhere.
At the same time, the humorous content platform has also evolved. Car characters have now joined the scene, bringing a new level of fun and personality to the posts. The content now includes car archetype jokes, educational pieces about the history of windshields, and, of course, the classic "pebble jokes" that audiences already love.
The refreshed concept and platform have proven highly successful – generating a large amount of organic engagement and likes across Pilkington’s social media channels.​​​​​​​
